PROJECT REMARKABLE

When my youngest child was diagnosed with autism, I dove head first into how I could be more involved with him and his progress. I immediately began doing regular themed photoshoots for the kiddos at his therapy center. It gives them the experience of meeting a new person and trying a new activity and gives me a first hand look into each of their unique personalities. In doing this I was surprised by how many parents of special needs children do not have annual portraits taken due to the apprehension surrounding the session. If you are one of these parents, please reach out! This project provides free mini sessions to families that might otherwise opt out of photos.

MEET ROBBIE

“This little guy is my youngest and my inspiration. As a professional photographer, I have always been obsessed with photos. I have had family portraits done for the past decade and aside from finding outfits for a family of 6, I never felt anxious about photos until Robbie was about 2 years old. How was I going to have a family photo session when my child is not speaking, following directions, or giving eye contact? Would a photographer even understand? The wave of nerves was overwhelming.”
